INVESTING IN THE PAST AND FUTURE OF MYKONOS

Education

We built an eco-conscious Secondary School in Ano Mera (2020). Designed to accommodate 200 students, it features 13 smart classrooms, science labs, sports facilities, and disability-friendly access. Additionally, 18 teacher residences were constructed nearby, fostering a vibrant educational environment.

Cultural heritage preservation

Blending traditional craftsmanship with modern expertise, we completed the restoration of the historic Panagia Tourliani Church and restored the parish residence. This project honours the church’s historical significance and enhances its facilities, ensuring its enduring legacy.

Healthcare enhancement

We significantly improved medical services on Mykonos by facilitating the donation of advanced radiological equipment—including a state-of-the-art CT scanner, bone density scanner, and mammography units—to the Mykonos Health Centre. Additionally, we constructed 15 apartments to accommodate doctors, strengthening local healthcare infrastructure.

Archaeological research support

Proud sponsors of an ongoing archaeological research project in Mykonos, we aim to uncover significant historical findings. This initiative contributes to the island’s rich cultural heritage and promotes awareness of its historical importance.

Our farm-to-table culinary philosophy emphasizes locally sourced ingredients, reducing carbon emissions while enhancing flavours. This approach supports local farmers and strengthens the community’s economic and cultural fabric.

Guest participation in sustainability

We encourage guests to join our sustainability efforts. Amenities like sewing kits, slippers, and leaflets are provided on demand, while towel replacements are offered every second day. Bathrooms feature refillable artisanal toiletries, water-saving showerheads, and eco-friendly housekeeping products.

Mindful construction and sourcing

We build with mindfulness, using stone excavated on-site and sourcing eco-friendly materials from local suppliers and artisans, prioritizing those with certified sustainable practices. This approach reduces environmental impact and supports local craftsmanship.

Recycling and resourcefulness

Committed to reducing waste, we recycle sheets and mattresses by donating them to monasteries and prisons across Greece, extending their lifecycle and supporting communities in need.
